Cagnes sur Mer Estuary

Today was a great day, the weather was amazing in my opinion too. It was amazing to reinforce all the things we’ve learned regarding estuaries by seeing the real area. I found immensely interesting the organisms cycle from eggs to larvae into the estuary, and after when ready again for babies back to the open water. Also, I liked how it was the relationship between salty and freshwater and how many beings were capable of surviving such abrupt changes around their environment. Besides, I was able to see the distinction between the shoreline with parts that were more out and the higher tide hitting the huge rocks. As well it was fascinating to see now how each of these birds and creatures indeed had different beaks obviously because of the type of prey they search for.
