Chiens Français
Did you know? France is the number one European country for households with pets. Over 44 million pets have homes in France.
More than 44% of French households have a dog and/or cat.
According to a study in 2004, there are over 7.6 million dogs living in France.
Most of the French own some sort of mixed breed of dog, however, the most popular breeds are poodles, labradors, and yorkshire terriers.
Just like in the United States, the French microchip and have insurance for their pets.
Although, you may have a hard time finding someone to care for your dog because apps like Rover and Wag! have yet to make their way to France.
