Life in Nice

This last week was an absolute adventure, having never traveled to another country outside of the U.S this was definitely a new experience. The culture of France is busy but serene at the same time, if that makes any sense. It’s so full of life but if you look closely enough, you’ll be able to find pockets of pure quietness and that’s where most of the history lies. Taking both the walking tour of Nice and the estuary visit gave me insight on how the diverse city operates. The animals of the estuary remind me of the people of Nice. What I mean is that the ducks we saw at the river were together but doing their own thing. That’s how it is in the main city center of Nice. People are in and out of the same stores and restaurants but don’t operate together. If this is what it's like being in Nice, I enjoy it very much. I’ve only been in France for 2 weeks and I’m so ready for more adventures that are to come.
